Ludhiana, November 14, 2024: Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal celebrated Children's Day on Thursday with specially-abled children from the Red Cross Deaf/Dumb School and Children Home by organizing a special treat for them at a popular eatery.
To observe Children’s Day, Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal, who also brought his daughter Naina, arranged this event for the kids. He extended warm wishes and emphasized the importance of education, hard work, and determination, encouraging them to dream big and believe in themselves.
Jorwal urged the children to make the most of the opportunities available to them; stay focused on their studies, and strives to set an example for others. He highlighted that Children's Day should not only be a day of celebration but also a reminder for society to pay attention to the rights and well-being of children. He assured full support and cooperation to the Red Cross Society for the effective functioning of these schools, which serve the community earnestly. He added that every effort would be made to empower these specially-abled students by providing them with quality education.
Jorwal expressed that celebrating Children's Day with the students of these schools gives him immense pride and satisfaction.
