DC checks special mutation camps
Ludhiana, December16, 2024: Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal inspected special mutation camps on Sunday.
While visiting the camp at the Ludhiana South sub-registrar office, Jorwal, accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Amarjit Bains, emphasized that the purpose of the initiative was to reduce the backlog of mutations and provide transparent service delivery to the public. He noted that officers and staff were available in revenue offices on Saturday and Sunday to assist with this effort. These mutation camps will be set up in all Tehsils, making it easier for residents to obtain accurate and up-to-date revenue records in future too.
Jorwal stated that these camps are intended to ensure hassle-free service delivery and to minimize inconvenience while streamlining the operations of the revenue department. He made it clear that any negligence would not be tolerated, and that action would be taken against any erring officers or employees. Additionally, he highlighted that the revenue department had already released a helpline number 8184900002 for filing complaints related to their services.
