DC distributes certificates to trainees who completed 45 days handloom weaving training under Samarth scheme

Ludhiana: 45 days handloom weaving training under Samarth scheme of Ministry of Textile was organized in Ludhiana at Tibba road,Gulabi bag, Ludhiana by weavers’ service centre Panipat o/o Development Commissioner handlooms ministry of textile Govt. of India in coordination with DIC Ludhiana.
19 trainees successfully completed thus training. Training stipend of Rs. 9450 was paid to each successful candidate.
Training was imparted by Mr Shamshad Ahmed master trainer who was also paid an honorarium of Rs 27000 under the scheme.
Deputy Commissioner Mr Varinder Kumar Sharma distributed certificates to the trainees in the premises of District Industries Centre (DIC) Ludhiana.
Mrs. Neeru Katyal Gupta ADC Ludhiana, Mahesh Khanna General Manager DIC,Ludhiana and Mr S.K. Gupta Deputy Director were also present during the function.
