DC felicitates PWD voters' icons for raising awareness
Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney on Tuesday honoured district icons for persons with disabilities voters for playing a vital role for raising awareness in registration and participation of PWD VOTERS in the recently held Lok Sabha election 2024.

Ludhiana, August 6, 2024: Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney on Tuesday honoured district icons for persons with disabilities voters for playing a vital role for raising awareness in registration and participation of PWD VOTERS in the recently held Lok Sabha election 2024.
Among them, Shabana and Ashwani Kumar both para badminton players got appreciation certificates for their efforts.
Sawhney handed over appreciation certificates to them in her office as a recognition for contributing immensely in awareness among PWD voters. She also encouraged them to carry out this responsibility in the future with the same enthusiasm and passion. She also extended wishes to them for their upcoming badminton competitions.
The certificate of Shubham Wadhwa, a Para Table tennis international player, who was also a PWD voters' district icon, will be delivered the certificate with wishes to his house by District Red Cross Society Ludhiana.
DC added that district administration is always ready to serve the society especially PWDs.She said that if they face any problem at any level that can contact DSSO Ludhiana cum District Nodal Officer for persons with disabilities..
