DC inaugurates Diwali items' stall by specially-abled students of government school

Ludhiana, October 25, 2024: Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal inaugurated a Diwali items stall run by specially-abled students from the Government Primary Smart School in Model Gram at the district administrative complex on Friday.
Jorwal interacted with the students at the stall and praised their skills in creating colourful items, including earthen lamps, greeting cards, decorative artefacts, and gifts. He emphasized that skill development boosts the students' confidence and stated that the district administration is fully committed to improving the lives of specially-abled, recognizing them as essential members of society. He also commended the education department for organizing the stall, noting that such events provide a platform for specially-abled individuals to showcase their talents. Furthermore, he also encouraged the students to work hard and strive for excellence in their lives.
During his visit, Jorwal also purchased products from the stall and assured the school of full support. He asked the school staff to provide a list of items needed for the students, promising that the administration will supply the same within a few days.
