Ludhiana, September 2, 2024: Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney appreciated six-year-old Anayesha Budhiraja for her rare achievement of making it into the prestigious Guinness World Records.

Sawhney called it a rare achievement as Anayesha has published a commercial bilingual book series. She wished Anayesha great success in the future.

Anayesha's journey began when she was only 8 months old. She could recite 100 Sanskrit verses (shlokas) by the age of 5 years and decided to write a book to share her joy of learning with more people. Her book series, titled "My Journey of Learning 100 Shlokas" and "How to Learn 100 Shlokas easily," features illustrations that she hand-drew herself. Anayesha, daughter of Dr. Sanchit Budhiraja (gastroenterologist) and Dr. Ravika Kanish Budhiraja (dermatologist), is an ambitious child with a passion for creativity and aims to spread the message of "Have a dream, work hard" among all her friends and readers.
