To ensure that officials and employees are present in government offices on time and to better serve the public, Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal led a drive for surprise checking of various offices on Wednesday. 48 employees found absent during the inspection and showcause notices have been issued to them.

Ludhiana, December 11, 2024: To ensure that officials and employees are present in government offices on time and to better serve the public, Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal led a drive for surprise checking of various offices on Wednesday. 48 employees found absent during the inspection and showcause notices have been issued to them. 

Starting at 9:10 AM, Jorwal, accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioners Amarjit Bains and Rohit Gupta, CM Field Officer Kritika Goyal, and Assistant Commissioner Payal Goyal conducted checks at multiple offices within the District Administrative Complex (DAC). The DC visited all branches, including the MA branch, HRA branch, PF branch, EA branch, DRA branch, Nazar, DTO office, and others. Meanwhile, Amarjit Bains and Rohit Gupta inspected several offices on the first and second floors of the complex. 

Jorwal emphasized that negligence in duties would not be tolerated, and strict actions would be taken against employees who fail to exhibit seriousness about their responsibilities.  He instructed all departments' heads to ensure that employees arrive on time so that public services can be delivered efficiently. Furthermore, he highlighted the importance of prioritizing the concerns of senior citizens, ensuring that they do not encounter any difficulties while accessing services in the offices.
