DC Ludhiana directs revenue officers to speed up recoveries, achieve targets
Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney directed the revenue officers of the district to expedite the recoveries from the defaulters and ensure the achievement of the fixed targets.

Ludhiana, June 22, 2024: Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney directed the revenue officers of the district to expedite the recoveries from the defaulters and ensure the achievement of the fixed targets.
Presiding over a meeting to review the revenue matters here at Bachat Bhawan, Sawhney said that the officers must accord top most priority to the collection of these recoveries for enhancing the revenue of the state government.
She also asked the Sub Divisional Magistrates to personally monitor the cases pertaining to recoveries so that the process of the recovery can be accelerated up. She said that this process must be completed at the earliest without any delay.
She said that any wilful defaulters must not be spared and stern action must be taken against them. She said that wilful defaulters should not be allowed to take the law for granted and every effort must be made to recover the pending arrears from them at the earliest.
Sawhney also reviewed the status of mutation pendency, and other matters concerning the department.
She directed all revenue officers to ensure that there is no pendency of work in their offices.
