DC Office in Dharamshala closed due to rise in covid-19 cases

Dharamshala: On finding 15 cases of covid-19 in the Deputy Commissioner Office in Dharamshala on Thursday, Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Kumar Prajapati has issued an order to close the Deputy Commissioner's office premises for the next 48 hours. He said that according to SOP, the work of sanitization of Deputy Commissioner Office will be done and only then the office will be opened on November 23, 2020.
In his order it said, “Whereas, the Covid-19 test were conducted in DC office Kangra at Dharamshala on dated 19/11/2020 and whereas 15 positive cases have been reported in the single building. Therefore, as per the guidelines of the Government of Himachal Pradesh vide order No. Secy(GAD)602/2020 dated 31st July, 2020 the premises of the Deputy Commissioner Office Kangra at Dharamshala is hereby closed for the next 48 hrs. i.e. till dated 22/11/2020. The building premises be sanitised as per SOP's and office shall be opened on 23 November, 2020.”
