DC orders assessment of possible crop loss due to untimely rain
Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney on Saturday ordered SDMs, agriculture and revenue officials to ascertain if any loss was caused by untimely rains and hail which hit the district on Friday.

Ludhiana, April 20, 2024: Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney on Saturday ordered SDMs, agriculture and revenue officials to ascertain if any loss was caused by untimely rains and hail which hit the district on Friday.
Divulging the details, the Deputy Commissioner said that the teams led by SDMs, agriculture and revenue officers had started the survey and complete the reports within a day. She further said that the officers were asked to meticulously prepare the report by considering the ground level situation.
Sawhney asked all SDMs and officials of agriculture and revenue departments to ensure sending report timely.
