Ludhiana, October 25, 2024: During a review of on-going and completed development projects in the district, Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal today directed concerned officers to submit utilization certificates for all completed works.

Accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Dr. Harjinder Singh Bedi, Jorwal took stock of on-going construction works including libraries, kitchen gardens in rural schools, pond cleaning, and Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) projects. He urged officers to prioritize the use of quality materials in construction and ensure timely project completion.

Jorwal reaffirmed the Punjab Government’s commitment, under Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, to support farmers in adopting environmentally friendly farming practices.
