Ludhiana: Recognizing the hard work being put by the nurses during their duty amidst Covid 19 pandemic, Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma on Wednesday saluted them for their indomitable and undying spirit in the war against the contagion on the occasion of International Nurses Day.
In a video message to all nurses working at the forefront round the clock in these trying times, Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma said that these nurses have risked their lives to save others from the scourge of this infectious disease by putting extraordinary efforts.
He said that the deadly wave of the Covid 19 pandemic has engulfed the entire country and healthcare workers especially nurses have been playing a commendable role to combat the pandemic.
He said that nurses have rendered exemplary duty to serve the ailing humanity and humanity bows before them for serving untiringly to save the human existence.
The Deputy Commissioner expressed hope that the hard work put in by them, would be pivotal in saving millions of lives.
He said that the hard work of these soldiers without uniform would ever act as inspiration for the others to perform their duty diligently.
