DC seeks the appointment of doctors, surgeons and lab technicians at Civil Hospital Ferozepur

Ferozepur, December 10, 2019: To provide batter healthcare services to the people of Ferozepur and implementing Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojna effectively, Deputy Commissioner Ferozepur Chander Gaind has sought the appointment of doctors, surgeons and lab technicians at Civil Hospital Ferozepur.

Divulging the details, the deputy commissioner said that he has written a letter to principal secretary health Mr. Anurag Aggarwal to appoint the staff on vacant posts in the civil Hospital including an ENT specialist, an orthopedic surgeon, general surgeon, and four lab technicians.

The deputy commissioner further added that in the lack of above-said staff a large number of patients are being sent to medical college Faridkot, which also create a hindrance in the smooth and proper implementation of Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojna adding he said that to provide a wide range of healthcare services the vacant positions should be fulfilled at the earliest.

Giving the reference of a conversation with the senior doctor Dr. Rajinder Manchanda, the deputy commissioner pointed out the requirement of staff in the civil hospital to ensure the smooth operation of the hospital. Notably, a few days ago the deputy commissioner had also written a letter to the principal secretary health, seeking action against the ill-behavior of an SMO for callousness in the duty.
