DC urges people to link voter ID cards with Aadhar
Special camps to be held at polling booths

Ludhiana, August 26, 2022: District Election Officer Surabhi Malik on Friday called upon all the citizens of Ludhiana to link their Aadhar number with their Voter IDs.
Divulging further details, Surabhi Malik said that the voters could submit his or her Aadhaar number through both online and offline modes. She said that for online, voters could link their Aadhar number with their voter I-card through www.nvsp.in or by downloading the Voter Helpline mobile app.
She said that all polling booth level officers and other election staff were already directed to visit the door to door and meet the voters directly to obtain the Aadhar number and link them through the Form-6B or could call on 1950 helpline number. She appealed the voters to extend full cooperation in completing the process.
Malik said that special camps would be at all polling booths in the coming months where voters could link the Aadhaar numbers with their voter identity cards.
