DC visits ailing cultural icon Jagdev Singh Jassowal

DC, Ludhiana Rajat Agarwal on Thursday visits ailing Cultural icon and former MLA Jagdev SinghJassowal at DMCH, Ludhiana. 

Ludhiana, November 27, 2014: On behalf of Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana Rajat Agarwal today visited ailing Cultural icon and former MLA Jagdev SinghJassowal at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, here. The Deputy Commissioner inquired about Jassowal's health from the doctors at DMCH.
He was accompanied by Dr Rajoo Singh Chhina, medical superintendent, DMCH and asked him to keep him informed about Jassowal's health status. He also directed the doctors to make sure Jagdev Singh Jassowal, founder of Prof Mohan Singh Memorial Foundation, gets best medical treatment. Jassowal is famously known as "Baba Bohar" of Punjabi culture and literature.
Few days ago, Cultural Affairs Minister Sohan Singh Thandal had also inquired about Jassowal's health.
Prominent among those present in the hospital included Civil Surgeon Dr Subhash Batta, Prof Mohan Singh Memorial Foundation president Pargat Singh Grewal, Master Sadhu Singh, besides several others.
