After strong competition in the initial rounds, where teams displayed remarkable skill and determination, the tournament progressed to the semi-finals, resonating with the tagline's spirit of unity and aspiration. In the semi-final 1, Sky Players clashed with Humanities Team, and emerged victorious securing a narrow victory by 5 runs. Simultaneously, Wave Makers Team and Badger Battalion were engaged in a tense battle in semi-final 2, with Wave Makers emerging victorious by a margin of 10 runs.
The stage was set for an exhilarating final showdown. In the finals, Sky Players clashed against Wave Makers in a high-stake encounter that captivated spectators. Ultimately, Sky Players triumphed over Wave Makers by 7 wickets, thereby clinching the championship title and exemplifying the unity and determination encapsulated in the tournament's tagline. Aman, representing Sky Players, delivered an outstanding performance in the final, scoring an impressive 83 runs off just 24 balls. His remarkable innings, which included 12 sixes and 2 fours, proved instrumental in his team's victory, showcasing exceptional skill and determination. Winning and runner-up teams were awarded with attractive cash prizes and medals.
A faculty show match featuring DCJ Diamonds and DCJ Royals alongside the main tournament added to the excitement. In a spirited display of talent, DCJ Diamonds emerged victorious over DCJ Royals by a commanding margin of 60 runs, highlighting the camaraderie and competitive spirit among the faculty members, in alignment with the ethos of "One Team One Dream."
Dr. Ominder Johal, Prof. Sukvinder Singh, Prof. Gulshan Sharma, Prof. Gursimran Singh Dhillon and Prof. Vinod Kumar were the members of organizing committee. Tournament aimed to instill values of sportsmanship and holistic development among the participating students, resonating with the tagline's spirit of unity and aspiration.
