Ferozepur, December 11, 2014: It was a mushy moment on Wednesday for the students and staff of Dass and Brown World School when Vijay Kumar Chopra, Editor-in-Chief, The Hind Samachar Group, arrived in the premises of the School to inaugurate “Learning Resource Centre”. Enthralled to see the resource centre, equipped with world class facilities, Vijay Kumar Chopra said that he is honoured to visit a school, having world class infrastructure.
A Demand Draft of Rs.1 lakh along with 200 quilts were also donated in the “Chief Minister Relief Fund for J&K Victims” by DCM Group of Schools to Vijay Kumar Chopra for the victims of Jammu and Kashmir floods.
A special cultural programme was performed by sweet tiny tots of the school which was heartily admired by the Chief Guest and other. Kiran Nandrajog, Principal, Dass and Brown World School said on this occasion DBS is making effort to provide world class education to the students of this border region.
Hundreds of elites of the city including businessmen, journalists, politicians, bureaucrats were present on this occasion.
