Ludhiana, July 1, 2022: DCM Presidency School is a ‘Plastic Free Campus.’ The Government of India has banned the manufacture, sale and use of identified single-use plastic items from today. So,in accordance with it the school organised a colourful activity wherein the teachers replaced their plastic diary covers with the cloth cover also the faculty members were encouraged to carry the cloth bags for an awareness campaign on single use plastic. This step is taken to encourage the development of environmentally conscious global citizens may it be management, staff, students.
On this occasion, the Principal, Rajni Kalra made a clarion call to avoid single use plastic at all.
