Ludhiana, June 21, 2022: DCM Presidency School, Ludhiana observed the International Yoga Day today wherein school Sports Officer Rajesh Kumar, NCC CTO Monika and Deputy Principal, Anoop Sharma demonstrated various asanas.
The importance of every asana was explained and a few warm-up exercises followed by ‘Omkar’ chanting were performed by the students, staff and SMC members.
Principal Rajni Kalra extended her wishes, motivated and emphasised the importance of yoga. The day was celebrated to convey the message of keeping mind and body fit through asanas. Students made charts and wrote slogans.
Parents also contributed their bit on this happy occasion.
