Ludhiana: The 12th edition of WIZTECH 2020, a two-day event (12th & 13th December 2020) was organized by the DCM Presidency School .It is one of the biggest opportunities for students to showcase their IT/ AI skills. Around 400 students from Schools from all over India participated in this mega event virtually.
In his inaugural speech, the CEO of the DCM Groups, Mr. Anirudh Gupta addressed the guests, judges, teachers, and students from the participating schools. He emphasized the use of Technology in the existing scenario of a global pandemic. He hailed the assembly with the motive of encouraging technology, scientific thinking, and innovation.
Head E-Initiatives Ms.Sunaina Kapoor said that students showcased their talents in different categories of this Techno-festival namely Paint the future, Tech Rhythms, Play That!, Web Tales, Idesign, Sway, IT Quiz, Lets Photoshop, Crack the Code, AI (Design Thinking), Declamation, Turn Coat, etc.
Abeer Uppal and Karan Pratap Singh bagged First position in AI design Thinking, Kashish Jain in PowerPoint presentation and Ridhi Gujral in Declamation. Jasdev Singh got Second position in Photoshop, Prabhnoor Kaur got Third position in Web Tales, Harpreet Singh in Play That and Vanshika Rikhi in Debate .
Principal Ms.Rajni Kalra congratulated the winners and wished them good luck for future endeavors.
