Ludhiana: In the wake of the recent Covid 19 outbreak, social distancing and personal hygiene have emerged as the key aspects to prevent the spread of infection. DCM Presidency through its Atal Tinkering Lab has yet again taken up the mantle of its community outreach through its support to the Covid 19 cause, by coming up with yet another neoteric innovative solution of designing our very own low-cost face masks.
The usage of such low-cost face masks would certainly help in maintaining overall hygienic health conditions while making the availability of face masks within the common man’s reach. People who are not suffering from medical conditions may use this innovative handmade reusable face cover, particularly when they step out of their house. This will indeed help in protecting individuals and the community at large.
The ATL squad of DCM Presidency advised that two sets of such face covers be made so that one can be washed while the other is used. Hand washing still remains an essential criterion and should be taken into effect before wearing the face cover.Such face covers should not be thrown anywhere but kept safely and properly sanitized before they are used.
