DCM Presidency’s ATL squad develops contactless hand sanitizer
The idea germinated amidst the virtual tinkering sessions of the ATL Team, which then paved way for the development of the prototype
Ludhiana: We, at DCM Presidency feel ebullient to share that even amidst the Covid-19 scenario, the learning, tinkering and innovation at DCM Presidency is not holding back, said a release issued here today by the school.
Under the aegis of AIM, NITI Aayog, the ATL squad of DCM Presidency mentored by Mr.Gurpreet and Mr.Nitesh have ensured that the “tinkering from home” journey remains technologically innovative.
Amidst numerous modules put forward by AIM, the ATL Team of DCM Presidency took up the challenge to design a “Contactless Automatic Hand Sanitizer Dispenser” in accordance with the community requirement of contactless sanitization at public places vis-à-vis schools, hospitals, banks, malls etc.
The idea germinated amidst the virtual tinkering sessions of the ATL Team, which then paved way for the development of the prototype. Subsequent technological deliberations ensured that the idea bore fruit.
The automation is immensely precise, ensuring that only the programmed amount of sanitizer is dispensed without even a single drop being wasted.
The journey does not end here; as DCM Presidency is already on the road to establishing itself as a hub of Artificial Intelligence, Virtual reality, Robotics, Design Thinking, Coding and other futuristic academic programmes.
Principal Mrs. Rajni Kalra, whilst appreciating the efforts of the ATL Team; underlined the school’s forte of providing a balanced mix of academics, technology, skills, sports, values and life-skills.
CEO, DCM Group of Schools, Mr.Anirudh Gupta underlined that amidst the spectrum of varied 21st century learning skills and the upcoming jobs of tomorrow, these young neoteric innovators would soon carve into budding entrepreneurs.
