Ludhiana, February 01, 2025: For the first time in the history of Ludhiana, DCM Young Entrepreneurs School (DCM YES) proudly hosted the IC3 Regional Forum, a significant event dedicated to fostering counseling as a core element of education. The IC3 Regional Forums are a mission-driven initiative that aims to bring counseling to every school, ensuring that every student receives the right guidance to build a fulfilling future.
The event was graced by Ganesh Kohli, Founder of the IC3 Movement, who shared his invaluable insights on "Counseling as Culture." He emphasized the need for structured guidance in schools, highlighting its impact on shaping students’ career paths and overall well-being.
Adding to the event’s prestige, Anureet Kaur, student of DCM International School, Ferozepur, and the proud CEO of The Female Mentors, delivered an inspiring keynote address, sharing her journey from a small village to the global stage by stressing the importance of mentorship and empowerment during school years.
A thought-provoking panel discussion was held on the theme, “Fostering Authenticity – Supporting Students to Discover and Celebrate Their True Selves.” The session was moderated by Payal Jindal Khanna, Deputy Director and Head, Centre for Leadership Coaching, Shoolini University. Dr. Gopan Gopalakrishnan, Deputy CEO, DCM Group of Schools, delivered a compelling session on “The Neuroscience Perspective of Giving a Sense of Purpose During School Years: .” He stressed the critical role of purpose-driven education while understanding how our brain functions during the learning process in developing engaged and motivated learners.
