DCM YES hosts “Soaring High 3.0” Investiture Ceremony 2024

Ludhiana, May 4, 2024:  DCM YES, held its prestigious Investiture Ceremony, "Soaring High 3.0", with great pomp and fervour. The event, aimed at recognizing and empowering young leaders, commenced with a captivating Lamp Lighting Ceremony, symbolizing the enlightenment and progress fostered by education. DSP Wrayam Singh Khera graced the ceremony as the chief guest.

The highlight of the ceremony was a breathtaking performance of the Shiv Tandav, which enthralled the audience and set the tone for celebration and inspiration. Members of the Young Entrepreneurs Board (YEB) made a grand entrance, marching with pride and determination as they prepared to take on their roles as leaders within the institution.

As part of the ceremony, Dr. Gopan Gopalakrishnan, CEO DCM Group of Schools and Dean Aarti Singh Sardana pinned the badges of honour upon the deserving students, marking their official induction into the esteemed Young Entrepreneurs Board. The Pinning of Badges ceremony was a moment of pride and achievement for both the recipients and the institution. A solemn Oath Ceremony was conducted during which the newly appointed members of the YEB and House Council accepted their duties and responsibilities, pledging to serve with integrity and dedication.

The event was further embellished with mesmerizing performances by the Performing Arts Department, including a stirring rendition of the YES Anthem by the talented MERAKI Band of YES, and a captivating dance performance by the students, showcasing their artistic prowess and creativity.

The event reached its crescendo with an inspiring address by the Council President, Toshaan Gill and Vice Presidents (Protocol) Prisha Sahi of Grade- XI, who shared their vision for the future and encouraged their peers to strive for excellence in all endeavors.

DSP Wrayam Singh Khera commended DCM YES for its dedication to nurturing young talent and fostering a culture of excellence. He emphasized the importance of leadership, integrity, and commitment in shaping the future leaders. He urged the students to embrace challenges with resilience and to strive for continuous self-improvement.

Dean Aarti Singh Sardana addressed the students and mentioned that "Soaring High 3.0" was not just a ceremony but a celebration of leadership, talent and unity within the DCM YES community. It reaffirmed the institution's commitment to nurture the next generation of leaders and innovators, instilling in them the values of integrity, perseverance and compassion.
