DCM Young Entrepreneurs School Celebrates Teej Festival with Enthusiasm

Ludhiana; August 8, 2024: The vibrant spirit of Punjabi culture was in full swing at DCM Young Entrepreneur School as students and teachers came together to celebrate the festival of Teej with great fervor.
The festivities included a series of engaging competitions that highlighted the rich heritage of Punjab. Students showcased their talents in dance and singing competitions, exhibited their creativity in henna art and displayed their flair for fashion in a lively fashion show.
In addition to the cultural events, the school arranged traditional saawan sweets such as, kheer and malpuas for the enjoyment of both students and teachers. Swings were also installed to enhance the festive atmosphere, allowing everyone to partake in the joyous celebrations. All participants and attendees embraced the occasion by donning traditional attire, adding to the vibrant ambiance.
Dean Aarti Singh Sardana praised the event as a vital effort to connect students with their cultural roots and values and stated that, "Celebrating festivals like Teej is essential for instilling a sense of tradition and moral values in our students,"
The celebration was attended by key school officials, including Premjit Kaur, Chief Coordinator; Shahnaz John, Head of Elementary; and Shelly Raheja, Cambridge Head, among other dedicated teachers. Their presence underscored the school's commitment to nurturing cultural awareness and community spirit among its students.
