Debate and quiz competition on G-20
Lyallpur Khalsa College's National Cadet Corps (Army Wing) is hosted a debate and quiz competition on the G-20.Colonel Praveen Kabthiyal, Commanding Officer, 2 PB BN NCC was the chief guest on the occasion.
Jalandhar, March 15, 2023: Lyallpur Khalsa College's National Cadet Corps (Army Wing) is hosted a debate and quiz competition on the G-20.Colonel Praveen Kabthiyal, Commanding Officer, 2 PB BN NCC was the chief guest on the occasion.
College Principal, Prof. Jasreen Kaur welcomed the Commanding Officer in her office. Addressing the event, Colonel Parveen Kabthiyal said that soft skills are an important part of the educational curriculum and that events like debate competition instil a sense of confidence and logical presentation of ideas in the students. India is hosting the G-20 summit, and it is a commendable initiative on the part of NCC cadets to participate and speak about such a large event.
Speaking to students, Principal Prof. Jasreen Kaur discussed the importance of NCC training in a cadet life. She stated that cadets received rigorous training while serving in the organisation for three years. The competition was attended by 5 teams made up of NCC cadets. Cadet Aastha moderated the entire event. Senior Under Officer Jaspreet Singh, Cadets Anjali, Ravinder Singh, Ardeep Kaur, Mohan Thakur, Simran, Bhanu Kohli, Dhushant Bawa, Sahil Mehta, Pinku Kashyap, Aniket Rai, Manpreet Kaur, Rupali Sahu, and Gudiya Verma took part in the debate.
The event was attended by College Registrar Prof. Manpreet Kaur, Dr. Suman Chopra, Dr. Amandeep Kaur, and ANO Dr. Karanbir Singh.
