ON DEC 14: Workshop on `Promoting Exports through E-Commerce at Jalandhar

Ludhiana, December 12, 2012: Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) in association with eBay, PayPal and Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC), India, is organising a workshop on `Promoting Exports through E-commerce’ on December 14 at Hotel Ramada, Jalandhar.

According to Opinder Singh, Deputy Director, EEPC, India, the event will begin at 6-30 pm.

He said the objective of the workshop is to give an opportunity to the exporters to understand the exciting new sales channel of exports via e-commerce to reach out to global buyers. The workshop will deliberate on how to export products to 103 million Global Buyers in 150 countries through eBay and PayPal. Experts from eBay and PayPal will apprise the participants on transitioning smoothly from a sole offline business mode to an integrated model that incorporates end to end services right from listing products on eBay, receiving payments through PayPal alongwith fulfillment service via leading logistics partners such as FedEx, ICC worldwide etc.

As a FIEO member, one can also avail exclusive offers from eBay and PayPal like unlimited product listing for a period of 6 months which is otherwise chargeable. There are other benefits towards e-payment and shipping services which will be discussed during the workshop.  

The participation will be strictly on first-cum-first serve basis. Though, there is no participation fee, the advance registration is mandatory.
