Congress Candidate Deepender Hooda said that the minority government in the state is not running, it is barely crawling. He said the nervousness of BJP leaders in the election campaign is a proof that BJP is going, and Congress is coming to power.

Bahadurgarh, May 11, 2024: Congress Candidate Deepender Hooda said that the minority government in the state is not running, it is barely crawling. He said the nervousness of BJP leaders in the election campaign is a proof that BJP is going, and Congress is coming to power. 

“Today Haryana has the highest unemployment. There is no work for educated youth. This government has stopped all the schemes made for the poor. There is so much resentment against this government in the entire state that BJP had to change the face of the government just before the elections. Even after changing faces, resentment against the BJP government is not decreasing,” he said, launching an attack on the government.

Deepender on Saturday visited Bahadurgarh's villages Mandauthi, Mehndipur Daboda, Noona Majra, Lowa Khurd, Soldha, New Village (Jatayan), New Village (Saniyan), Israheri, Siddipur, Lowa Kalan, Balaur, Arya Nagar, Ward No. 23, Kila Mohalla and other areas and appealed to vote in favor of Congress.  Bahadurgarh MLA Rajendra Joon, MLA Surendra Bawana, Rajasthan Congress MLA Dr Shikha Meel Barala were present with Deepender during the campaign.

Deepender Hooda assured the residents that their blessing will not go in vain and the Congress will form the government in Chandigarh through Delhi. 

Describing the guarantees of Congress' Nyaya Patra, he said that when Congress forms the government, it will give Rs 1 lakh per year to a woman from every poor family under Mahalaxmi Yojana. “We will end the Agneepath scheme of the Army and start permanent recruitment like before. Apart from this, the already recruited Agniveer will be confirmed. In order to reduce the unemployment crisis, when the Congress government is formed, the 30 lakh vacant government posts at the Center will be filled in a time-bound manner, as per the calendar under Bharti Bharosa, then in Haryana, more than 2 lakh youth will be filled on the vacant government posts in a time-bound manner,” he promised.

“Apart from this, the first job of educated youth will be guaranteed, every educated youth will be given the right to apprenticeship worth Rs 1 lakh. New laws and policies will be made to stop paper leaks. A new startup fund of Rs 5,000 crore for youth and ⁠⁠will provide better working rules and complete social security for gig-workers,” he added.

“Farmers will be given guarantee of MSP and freedom from debt. When the Congress government comes to power in the state, the elderly will get ₹ 6000 old age pension, 300 units of free electricity, old pension scheme will be given to employees and home-markers will be given gas cylinders for ₹ 500,” he said.

Enumerating the work done during his tenure, he said that bypasses were built in 17 cities including Bahadurgarh, Jhajjar, Badli, Chhara, Meham, Kosli, Rohtak, Kalanaur, Sampla and the bypasses of Chhuchhakwas, Matan, Subana and Beri were approved by the NCR Planning Board. “But in 10 years the BJP government could not build even the 4 approved bypasses,” he said.

“During the Congress government, 3 industrial areas were set up in the entire Lok Sabha constituency, many big industries were established here. Metro was built till Bahadurgarh, but in the last 10 years, the metro has not moved an inch beyond the last pillar built by us in Sakhol village. Delhi-Bahadurgarh-Rohtak-Hisar RRTS was proposed, but this work has also come to a standstill,” he added. 

He said the International Nuclear University (GCNEP) was approved and constructed in Jasaur Khedi, while he got the Delhi-Bahadurgarh-Rohtak MEMU rail service started, he also got electrification of Delhi-Sarai Rohilla-Bahadurgarh railway line. He said 6-laning of Delhi-Bahadurgarh NH-10 was carried out, while 4-laning of 3 roads was also completed.

Highlighting his achievements in the education sector, he said construction of ITI in Bahadurgarh and Asoudha, construction and expansion of Girls College in Bahadurgarh were carried out.

Talking about work carried out in the area, he said construction of many new rural roads under PMGSYG was carried out while project approved on Mungeshpur drain, and constructed an excellent park on the vacant railway land in Bahadurgarh, and on the demand of the people, got the high tension (HT) line removed from the residential areas at government expense. He said the Congress government built a state level sports stadium in Bahadurgarh, while the BJP government does not have a new work of its own to showcase and seek votes on.
