Jhajjar, May 20, 2024: Congress candidate Deepender Hooda said that anti-constitutional and anti-democratic forces have become dominant and the BJP is raising the ‘400-paar’ slogan to change the Constitution.
“If BJP comes to power this time, not only will the Constitution end but the reservation given to the poor and backward class will also end. The Constitution will be saved and the rights of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes will be saved only if BJP loses,” he said.
He said that the Constitution made by Baba Saheb was signed by his grandfather, Ranbir Singh, as a member of the Constituent Assembly. “It is our duty to ensure that the Constitution is not affected. We will not allow a single word of this Constitution to be changed,” he said, and appealed to everyone to come forward to protect the country's constitution and democracy by increasing the voting percentage and support, support and bless the Congress in this election.
Deepender visited the villages Bhambeva, Barhana, Madana Khurd, Sheria, Gangtan, Dhandhlan, Bisahan, Dharana, Siwana, Dimana, Chhochi, Madana Kalan, Lakadia, Deeghal, Gochhi, Bakra, Chimni, Dubaldhan in Beri constituency and addressed public meetings.
Describing the guarantees of Congress' Nyaya Patra, Deepender said when Congress forms the government, it will give Rs 1 lakh per year to a woman from every poor family under the Mahalakshmi scheme.
“We will end the Agneepath scheme of the army and start permanent recruitment like before. Apart from this, the already recruited Agniveer will be confirmed. To ensure that no one remains hungry in the country, the UPA government implemented the Right-to-Food Act. When the Congress government is formed, the quota of 5kg ration given to the poor will be increased to 10kg. In order to reduce the unemployment crisis 30 lakh vacant government posts at the Centre will be filled in a time-bound manner as per the calendar under Bharti Bharosa when the Congress government is formed.
“Farmers will be given guarantees of MSP and freedom from debt. When the Congress government comes to power in the state, the elderly will get ₹ 6000 old age pension, 300 units of free electricity, an old pension scheme will be given to the employees and homemakers will be given gas cylinders for ₹ 500,” he added.
Deepender said the anti-people policies of the BJP government had created the highest unemployment in 45 years. “Investments collapsed and small industries were destroyed.
Unemployed youth are forced to run from pillar to post in search of jobs,” he stated.
Deepender appealed to the people to vote on the basis of his work and his behaviour and said that he is going from village to village with the report card of his work.
