Deepender Hooda campaigned in villages of Jhajjar constituency
Congress Candidate from Rohtak Lok Sabha Deepender Hooda said that the state BJP government does not have the required 45 MLAs needed for majority in Haryana Vidhan Sabha, hence the assembly should be dissolved, President's rule should be imposed, and fresh elections should be called.
Jhajjar, May 10, 2024: Congress Candidate from Rohtak Lok Sabha Deepender Hooda said that the state BJP government does not have the required 45 MLAs needed for majority in Haryana Vidhan Sabha, hence the assembly should be dissolved, President's rule should be imposed, and fresh elections should be called.
He said that no section of society is happy with this government. Even the MLAs supporting the government are angry with the government, and three independent MLAs have withdrawn support from BJP. He said that the one vote is going to cause double damage in this election and by winning here, Congress government will be formed in Chandigarh, via Delhi.
On Friday, he visited villages of Jhajjar constituency Khedi Khummar, Khatiwas, Rudiyawas, Naugawa, Sasrauli, Maliyawas, Birohar, Kaliyawas, Khachrauli, Sehlanga, Dahlanwas, Jhamri, Bajitpur, Khorda, Bahu, Kheda Tharu, Khanpur Kalan, Chehda, Khanpur Khurd, Campaigned in Goria on Friday. Jhajjar MLA Geeta Bhukkal and Congress MLA from Rajasthan Shikha Barala were also present. Hooda addressed a series of public meetings and appealed to the people to vote in favour of Congress.
Deepender Hooda said that Haryana was number 1 in development, per capita income, per capita investment and employment generation till 2014. “Many big institutions like railways, roads, metro, highways, industrial areas, industries, power plants, universities, IITs, IIMs, AIIMS were being built. But after 10 years of BJP government, Haryana has reached number 17 in development and number 1 in unemployment, corruption, crime, drug addiction and inflation. In the last 5 years, BJP-JJP only indulged in corruption and looting the state,” he added.
He also presented an account of the development works done in the area during his tenure. He demanded that the present BJP MP should give the account of the development works in the area during the last 5 years. Deepender Hooda alleged that the BJP government has destroyed the education system in the state. “It has not only put on hold the work on the vast campuses of IITs, but due to political weakness, dozens of big projects sanctioned by us were either sent to other states or the work was halted,” he said.
“But now times are about to change and on 25th May the people will vote out the BJP government. After this, the wheel of development will turn again in the area and this area of Jhajjar and Rohtak adjacent to Delhi will also progress rapidly on the lines of Gurgaon and Noida,” he added.
