Jhajjar, May 21, 2024: Raising the issue of record unemployment, inflation, crime and corruption, Congress candidate Deepender Hooda said that BJP MPs and the BJP government have nothing to show as their achievements today.
“Neither any new investment came in the state, nor any new project came up, or any new factory or industry could be set up. On the contrary, today the youth of the entire state are forced to bear the brunt of the biggest unemployment in the last 45 years,” he said.
“The results of the directionless policies of the BJP government have now come to the fore in the form of record unemployment. Factories providing work to people have been closed one after the other. Forget getting new jobs under BJP rule, existing jobs are being lost,” he added.
“The value of Rupee is continuously falling, business is coming to a standstill, and there is an atmosphere of despair in the market. There is no sector which is not facing the brunt of recession, and only scams are happening in the name of recruitment by HSSC and HPSC in Haryana. More than 30 papers have been leaked so far. Jobs, that were right of the youth of Haryana, were given to people from other states. Due to unemployment, youth are falling into the trap of drugs and crime due to despair and hopelessness,” he pointed out.
Deepender said that during his tenure of nearly 19 years, people have seen his work and also his conduct. He told that due to Badhsa AIIMS-2 and National Cancer Institute, Jhajjar district came up on the map of health services in the entire country, but the BJP government did not allow the 10 institutions of national importance approved by us to be built further.
He said if the Congress had a government, then the 10 approved institutions of Badhsa AIIMS campus would have been ready. He added that the BJP government has not got even a single new brick laid here in the last 10 years, and there is a lot of anger in the area. He assured that if the public gives him a chance, he will get the work done till the last brick is laid for the remaining 10 approved hospitals of Badhsa.
Congress candidate Deepender Hooda today campaigned in villages Khakhana, Chhabili, Patasani, Utlodha, Zahidpur, Norangpur, Kutani, Nangla, Dadri Toe, Saundhi, Nimana, Pelpa, MP Majra, Khedi Jatt, Pahasaur, Ladpur, Bamdola, Kukedola, Munimpur. , Kaloi, Suhra, Jahangirpur, Khungai, Bodiya, Bajitpur, Kot and Sikanderpur in the Badli Vidhan Sabha and appealed to vote in favor of Congress. He said bypasses of Chhuchhakwas, Matan, Subana and Beri were approved by the NCR Planning Board, but the BJP government could not even get 4 approved bypasses built in 10 years.
Deepender Hooda said both BJP and JJP together committed scams in the last 5 years, and just before the elections, they have parted ways, and are now talking about getting each other's corruption investigated. “There is huge resentment among the people against this government in the entire state. Seeing this resentment BJP changed the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, all the ministers and even changed the alliance before the elections. But now, no matter how many faces BJP changes, people will change this government after the elections,” he added.
