Delegation of BRADO attended Taipei Cycle Show 2014 in Taiwan

Ludhiana, March 12, 2014: A delegation of Bicycle Research And Development Organisation (BRADO) visited Taiwan and attended the Taipei Cycle Show 2014.           
The display at the exhibition was of fancy frames/forks/brakes made of carbon, aluminium alloy, magnesium and even titanium. Disc brakes, gear shifters and derailers were of very high end quality. Ant-Puncture tubes were exhibited in the event.
The delegation even got a chance to visit Pacific Cycles known as the “god” for bicycle industry of Taiwan where it saw joining of two metallic parts with glue. This joint is stronger than a welded joint (TIG, MIG & Brazing).
During visit to Pacific Cycles, the delegates saw bicycle museum where they saw about 150 high end  bicycles which were costing roughly from 3000 $  to 10000 $ with models varying from fancy frames, folding bicycles, tricycles and e-bikes.
There was a particular model `BIRDY’, which was a folding bicycle. The owner George Lin told delegates that customers ride this bike for cross country travel without fear. George also told delegates about a customer who owns 14 BIRDY bicycles.
To understand the grass-root level of fancy frames delegates visited few frame welding and hydro forming industry. There are approximately 13 process involved in finished hydro formed frame/ tubes.    The delegation also finalised high end machinery for Aluminium Rim manufacturing, said BRADO general secretary Gurmeet Singh Kular.
