Delegation Consisting of 35 Members of CII Ludhiana Zone visited Vardhman Textiles Limited

Ludhiana, April 19, 2023: A delegation consisting of 35 Members of CII Ludhiana Zone visited Vardhman Textiles Limited, Ludhiana to see the latest technologies and impressive working culture adopted by the industry.

Rishi Pahwa, Chairman, CII, Ludhiana Zone and JMD Avon Cycles Limited said more such visit at Prominent Corporate houses will be planned for CII Ludhiana members in future too. The Learning Panel of CII, Ludhiana Zone appreciated the step taken by Rishi Pahwa, towards growing the industry by organizing such plant visits and interactions with senior leadership.

Lokesh Jain, Vice Chairman, CII Ludhiana and other Senior Members shared that it was an eye-opening industrial visit to Vardhman Textiles, where they set up advanced machines for development and impressive spinning machines and equipment’s producing the latest products of Yarn. 

In Vardhman Textiles members saw highly motivated Team Management and workers, perfect Lean manufacturing process, 5S, TPM, Quality Circle and new product development as well as the company’s vision & key focus areas finding new opportunities in the Domestic and International textiles markets. 

Neeraj Jain, Jt. Managing Director, Vardhman Textiles Limited and Vikas Mittal (Head - Technical) interacted with the delegation and shared about the numerous key initiatives, which needs to implement in the industry for growing with effective management and shared that Training & Development of employees is one of the key factors of success.

Randeep Bhogal, Convenor, CII Ludhiana Zone shared that to compete in today's market trends we should on focus on continuous improvement, to grow the success mantra is to explore your TAM - Total Addressable Market and TAC - Total addressable Customer for your entire product range, it will help to increase our productivity and production after understanding the gap in the market, effective use of land by multistorey production, importance and effective use of data and regular analysis to grow. 

Dr. Prem Kumar highlighted that in Vardhman there is very optimum & impressive use of real time data software and great management of space. Industry 4.0 & Lean manufacturing process really well implemented. 

Another visited delegate shared that Vardhman is a very Systematic organisation. Every process has an owner and every owner is assigned with a particular task and Work life balance was excellent. Working environment was made in such a way that every employee itself loves to work.
