Chandigarh, September 25, 2024: A delegation from Ministry of Biosafety, Malaysia today visited the department of Biotechnology, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
The delegation interacted with the members of Institutional biosafety committee of Panjab University. The visit is under the collaborative efforts between DBT, Govt of India and Govt of Malaysia on exploring the regulatory policies and implementation of biosafety guidelines in R&D institutes.
Various initiatives and activities performed by IBSC PU were shared with the Malaysian delegation. Representatives of both the countries explored the possiblity of further collaboration as well.
