Ludhiana, December 6, 2023: To create awareness among students for environmental protection, PCTE Group of Institutes organized an expert talk by Professors -Industrialist turned eminent environmentalist Dr. V.P Mishra. Renowned for his expertise in environmental sustainability, Dr. Mishra discussed the secrets behind "Harmony with Nature" and its pivotal role in ensuring the enduring success of businesses in our modern society.
Dr. V.P. Mishra, a distinguished scholar, brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the audience, emphasizing the imperative need for businesses to align with the principles of nature for long-term viability. He emphasized that the health of ecosystems directly influences the success and resilience of businesses, and a harmonious relationship with nature is pivotal for sustained growth.
The lecture highlighted the responsibility of businesses in adopting environmentally sustainable practices. Dr. Mishra urged students to become stewards of the environment by implementing eco-friendly policies, reducing carbon footprints, and actively participating in conservation efforts. In addition to this, he took the case study of Buddha Dariya, Ludhiana which has been converted into Budda Nallah because of the wrong understanding of few people. The health of people of Ludhiana has been suffering because of this for a long time.
Dr. Mishra laid stress on the role of right education to the students so that they can understand the responsibility and participation in cleaning the buddha nullah and again converting it into river. He inspired more than 300 students and teachers of PCTE who took the pledge to protect the environment on this occasion.
