Jorwal made it clear that the battle against dengue demands strong and decisive action, urging all local authorities, rural development agencies, and others to continue enforcing penalties on those who fail to maintain cleanliness.

The DC also called for widespread public involvement and adherence to these efforts. He directed the health and municipal cleanliness teams to distribute mosquito nets in labor colonies and to focus on educating the public, especially in schools and construction areas.

The Deputy Commissioner also mentioned that efforts are already underway to educate the public on identifying and eliminating mosquito breeding sites, including areas like flower pots, refrigerators, coolers, tires, bird feeders, and other items where water can collect.
