Department of Community Education and Disability Studies observed ‘Vigilance Awareness Week 2023’

Chandigarh, November 3, 2023: Department of Community Education and Disability Studies observed ‘Vigilance Awareness Week 2023’ on the national theme “Say No to Corruption; Commit to the Nation” by organizing a special lecture on the theme ‘Integrity as the Foundation for Ethical Culture’ under the patronage of our honourable Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr) RenuVig.
Chairperson of the Department Dr. Md. SaifurRahman introduced the resource person Dr. Bharat, Assistant Professor at the University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University Chandigarh. Dr. Bharat started the lecture with some appealing words, stories, discussions, and interactions using grounded examples of Indian culture and role models distinguished the session. He focused on 'Values' and 'Valuables' to understand the diverse points which can become a strong path to eradicate the corruption in the society and in system as well. Later, He explainedIdeas regarding the ideals and role models in turning a person into a personality and inspiring individuals are inculcated in the lecture with the number of stories. Lecture's core principles were all based on the significance of "integrity".
The lecture ended at 4.00 p.m. with a vote of thanks given by Dr. Md. Saifur Rahman. A very positive and appreciative gestures were shown by the audience after the lecture.
