Department of Evening Studies – MDRC installed a Sanitary Pad Vending Machine for girl students in Arts Block – I 

Chandigarh, January 8, 2023: Department of Evening Studies – MDRC installed a Sanitary Pad Vending Machine for girl students in Arts Block – I which was donated by Prerana Group of Punjab National Bank during a Social Welfare Drive on January 6. Professor Neeraj Jain, Chairperson received the machine from Leena Panigrahi - President, Prerana Group. Vivek Trivedi - Social Welfare Officer, Chandigarh Administration (Alumni of our Department); Shabnam - Deputy President, Prerana Group; Samita Kaushik - Chief Manager, PNB & Member of Prerana Group; Saneh Singh - Deputy General Manager, PNB & Member of Prerana Group; Rajni - Member of Prerana Group and Prabhjeet Singh - General Manger, Rajbhasha (Haryana Circle) were present to grace the occasion. Faculty Members of the Department, Office Bearers of Students' Central Association, DES-MDRC and Students of the Department were also there. A demo for operating the machine was also given to the girl students.
