Department to organize series of competitions dedicated to 400th Prakash Purab of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji

Ludhiana: The Education Department would organize a series of the competitions dedicated to 400th Prakash Purab of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, in all the schools of the district in the coming days.
Disclosing more information, District Education Officer (Secondary) Harjit Singh said that several competitions dedicated to the 400th Prakash Purab of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji including painting, poetry, speech, playing musical instruments, poster making, painting, slogan writing, would be organized by the department and a proper detailed schedule has been shared with all schools heads.
He said these competitions would be related only to the life, philosophy, teachings and sacrifice of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
He said that the school heads have been asked to ensure massive participation of the students whether the competition is being held online or offline mode.
Besides, he flagged off an awareness van to motivate the people to admit their wards in the government schools. He told that the van would also make the people aware of the facilities being offered by these schools to the students especially those belonging to the poor and weaker section of the society.
Prominent among present occasion included school Principal Sanjiv Thapar, Gurkirpal Singh, Kulwinder Singh, Arvinder Sharda and others.
