DEPUTY CM Punjab visits house of late Mohinder Singh Bhogal

Sukhbir Singh Badal, Deputy Chief Minister, Punjab and Bikramjit Singh Majithia, Minister of Revenue and Sharanjit Sihgh Dhillon, Minister for PWD Punjab visit the house of Ludhiana's leading industrialist Mohinder Singh Bhogal, who passed away on Sunday to pay their condolence to the grieved family.

 

Ludhiana, July 17, 2013: Sukhbir Singh Badal, Deputy Chief Minister, Punjab and Bikramjit Singh Majithia, Minister of Revenue and Sharanjit Sihgh Dhillon, Minister for PWD Punjab visited the house of city's leading industrialist Mohinder Singh Bhogal, who passed away on Sunday to pay their condolence to the grieved family.

Avtar Singh Bhogal and Harinder Pal Singh Bhogal both sons of late Mohinder Singh Bhogal and industrialists while discussing about late Mohinder Singh Bhogal; apprised of his achievements to the Deputy Chief Minister; told that he was a great visionary of the time.  He started to working when the industry was at its grass root level and no equipment or machine was available.  He was the person, who developed first automatic turning machine in the country.  He was such an innovative that once, Japanese Industries refused to allow him to visit industries as they felt that he if would once look at their equipments, would develop the same at his own.

They further mentioned that he lived like a saint and always tried to do best for the betterment of society and development of industries. 

The sons of late Mohinder Singh Bhogal assured to the Deputy Chief Minister that like their father, they also would work for the development of Industries in Punjab and would bring the industries of Punjab as “No. 1” in the country; as the Punjab Government was also working for the development of industries for attracting new investment in the industries and have simplified procedures for the existing industries.

Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU), urged the Deputy Chief Minister to establish recognition/special award for the industrialists, who have contributed towards the development of industries in the state.

Upkar Singh, Joint Secretary, CICU, Manjit Singh Khalsa, Chairman, UPCMA, Badish Jindal, Charanjit Singh Vishavkarma, Gurmit Singh Kullar, Inderjit Singh Navyug, Pardeep Wadhawan, Kulwinder Singh Bainipal, Jaswinder Singh Birdi, Manmohan Singh Morton were present; alongwith the family members NS Bhogal, JS Bhogal, Jaskirat Singh Bhogal, Manmohan Singh Bhogal and Angad Singh Bhogal.
