Deputy Commissioner inaugurates Langar Sewa at Labour School on Hambran Road and at Civil Hospital Ludhiana today
Appreciates Baba Manjit Singh from Dhan Guru Ram Dass Langar Sewa Society for starting langar sewa for welfare of downtrodden strata of society
Ludhiana, April 5, 2022: Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana Varinder Kumar Sharma today inaugurated Langar Sewa at Labour School on Hambran Road and at Civil Hospital Ludhiana. On this occasion, he also appreciated the efforts of Baba Manjit Singh from Dhan Guru Ram Dass Langar Sewa Society for starting langar sewa for welfare of downtrodden strata of society.
Civil Surgeon Dr SP Singh, Advocate Hari Om Jindal, Buta Singh, Makhan Singh USA, Pardeep Kapoor, besides several others were also present.
Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma said that Dhan Guru Ram Dass Langar Sewa Society would be providing fresh breakfast and lunch to the students of Labour School, Hambran Road, here. He said that similarly, free and fresh langar would also be provided to patients as well as their attendants at Civil Hospital Ludhiana.
On both the occasions, the Deputy Commissioner personally served langar to those present on the occasion.
Varinder Kumar Sharma stated that Dhan Guru Ram Dass Langar Sewa Society is already performing sewa in the entire state. He said that they are also performing langar sewa in all Civil Hospitals of the state. He said that Dhan Guru Ram Dass Langar Sewa Society langar sewa was started from village Heeran (district Hoshiarpur) in February 2019. He said that the society has set up ultra modern machines for preparing langar.
