Deputy Commissioner launches documentary depicting spiritual journey of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib
Padma Shri Surjit Patar lauds the efforts of Advocate Harpreet Sandhu to present a unique documentary to mark the 400th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib
Ludhiana: Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma today launched a Documentary based on theme “Spiritual Journey of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib Ji”, dedicated to 400th year of advent of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib, prepared by High Court Lawyer Harpreet Sandhu.
The documentary is combination of high quality colourful pictures of the holy Gurudwaras i.e. Guru ka Mahal (Amritsar), Vayah Asthan (Kartarpur, District Jalandhar), Bhora Sahib (Baba Bakala), Thara Sahib (Amritsar), Guru Ke Mahal (Bhora Sahib, Sri Anandpur Sahib), Thara Sahib (Sri Anandpur Sahib), Sis Ganj Sahib (Chandni Chowk, Delhi), Gurudwara Rakab Ganj Sahib (Delhi), Bibangarh Sahib (Ropar), Sis Ganj Sahib (Sri Anandpur Sahib), Gurudwara Akal Bunga Sahib (Sri Anandpur Sahib), depicting the Pious Journey of Guru Sahib, from his Birth till Martyrdom.
Deputy Commissioner while launching the Documentary appreciated the unique thought of Advocate Harpreet Sandhu for coming up with this pious work and said that this initiative will definitely help to spread preachings of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib, and message of peace and universal brotherhood within humanity.
He further applauded the Pictorial Visuals promoting the historical Gurudwaras, related to Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib Ji and their importance within the Sikh Sangat in form of the Calendar dedicated to the commemorating 400th Prakash Purab of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib Ji.
On the occasion, Eminent Poet and Padma Shri Dr Surjit Patar who is also chairman of Punjab Arts Council also lauded the efforts of Advocate Harpreet Sandhu for pious work of promoting Historical Gurudwaras, associated with Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji.
