Ferozepur, January 7, 2025: In a significant step toward enhancing road safety awareness, the Deputy Commissioner Deepshikha Sharma, launched a series of road safety awareness posters created by Mayank Foundation. The posters aim to reduce road accidents and promote safe driving habits across the district.
The launch event, held at the District Administration’s office, was attended by local officials, community members, and Mayank Foundation representatives. The posters highlight key messages such as wearing helmets, using seat belts, obeying traffic signals, and driving at safe speeds. These will be displayed at schools, public spaces, and major traffic junctions in Ferozepur to maximize their impact.
While appreciating the effort, the DC emphasized the importance of road safety in saving lives. She commended Mayank Foundation’s commitment and encouraged the public to participate in the awareness campaign.
MAYANK FOUNDATION’S ACTIVITIES DURING NATIONAL ROAD SAFETY MONTH 2025
To mark National Road Safety Month 2025, Mayank Foundation will organize a series of activities to promote road safety throughout Ferozepur. These include workshops, seminars, rallies, street plays, and medical emergency training sessions. The foundation aims to engage the community, educating them on road safety laws and encouraging safer driving practices.
Additionally, Mayank Foundation will address road safety issues at accident-prone black spots by installing new awareness signboards at key locations.

Mayank Foundation is also proud to announce its empanelment as a LEAD (Local Engineering and Development) Agency on Road Safety by the Ministry of Transport, Punjab Government. This recognition highlights the foundation’s ongoing efforts in promoting road safety and solidifies its role in enhancing public safety in the region.
As a LEAD Agency, Mayank Foundation will collaborate closely with government authorities to shape road safety policies, develop infrastructure, and lead public awareness programs to reduce accidents and improve traffic conditions.
