Deputy Commissioner lifts ban orders from dying industries in Bahadurke cluster

Ludhiana, August 23, 2019: Deputy Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Agrawal has ordered to lift the ban on the closure of dyeing industries falls under Bahadurke Cluster in the city.

For other industries, ban orders will remain in force.

It is pertinent to mention that Deputy Commissioner-cum-Chairman District Disaster Management Authority, Ludhiana, Pradeep Kumar Agrawal, on the recommendation of the Municipal Corporation Commissioner had issued orders for closure of these industries. The municipal corporation has noticed a decrease in water level in the Sutlej river, due to the rise in river water STP was closed.

But now the plant has been restarted. Industries from Tajpur Road Dyeing Industry, Industrial Area-A and Moti Nagar, Samarala Chowk to Jalandhar Bypass and all dyeings in the focal point area will remain closed till further orders.
