Ludhiana, January 20, 2019: Deputy Commissioner Mr Pradeep Kumar Agrawal today reviewed the functioning of District Bureau of Employment & Enterprises, Partap Chowk, here, to ensure that the services provided here prove more beneficial to the youth. He was also accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Dr Shena Aggarwal.

A meeting in this regard was held in the Bureau office, which was attended by Additional Deputy CEO-cum-Employment Generation & Training Officer Mr Rajan Sharma, Deputy CEO Mr Navdeep Singh, Functional Manager DIC Ludhiana Mr Sukhwinder Singh Raikhy, Principal ITI Ludhiana Mr Jaswant Singh and Placement Officer ITI Ludhiana Mr Gurmeet Singh.

During this meeting, the issues related to job fairs to be organised in February 2019 were discussed. It was stated that the employers who have 25 or more employees working under them, it is mandatory for them to inform the Bureau within 15 days. And as per the notification, they will have to inform the Bureau about the vacant vacancies.

Mr Agrawal informed that in the coming days, services related to immigration would also be provided through this bureau. Besides, other facilities related to self employment would also be provided here. He informed that Ola company would be organising “Ola and Food Panda Job Fair” at District Bureau of Employment & Enterprises, Partap Chowk, here, from 10 am onwards on January 21, 2019 (Monday). This job fair would be organised under the Ghar Ghar Rozgar Yojana of the state government.

The interested candidates should be at least 12th pass, should be above 18 years of age, should have a valid driving license, motor bike and a smart phone. The interested candidates having police verification, their selection would be done on priority basis. The interested candidates can easily earn between Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 per month.

The candidates who do not have their own motorbike, companies namely Hero, Bajaj and TVS would be orgasming a separate camp for them as well.
