Ferozepur, July 29, 2018: Once a deserted land situated in the heart of the city which had turned into “garbage land” is now transformed into a beautiful park due to efforts made by Congress MLA Parminder Singh Pinki. Not only this, a huge LED has also been installed here. As per the information, live telecast from Golden Temple in Amritsar and Vaishno Devi shrine will be displayed on this LED every morning and in the evening time also.
Ranjan Sharma, social activist and Financial Analyst said that it is great to see the lush green grass where heaps of garbage, were a common sight. “Now every morning and in the evening time also, people from all walks of life come here with their family and enjoy”, said Sharma.
Besides an open air garden gym has also been installed in this park.
