Design Dekko, India’s unique platform for the architecture and interior design community organises its first ever pop-up ‘Connections’ in Pune
Leading architects like Kalpak Shah, Nishita Kamdar, Richa Bahl, Sarah Sham and Madhav Raman gave insightful talks on topics ranging from home décor to technology Pune, May 28, 2019: ‘Connections by Design Dekko’ a unique one-day pop-up event celebrating spaces and minds who shape them, made its debut at Godrej Rejuve, Keshavnagar, Pune in the presence of leading architects, interior designers and home décor enthusiasts. Design Dekko is a unique brand agnostic platform led by Godrej Group for architecture and interior design professionals to network, engage and collaborate with peers, brands and consumers. Design Dekko has presence on digital and social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Connections by Design Dekko is a series of pop-ups that drives the on ground presence for the platform. From existing or potential home owners, design enthusiasts to the most celebrated minds in the architecture and interior designing space, Connections By Design Dekko aims to create an experience relevant for all through conversations and cross-pollination of ideas. Connections by Design Dekko encompassed experience zones, masterclasses, and conversations on how technology is shaping future-ready living spaces. The pop-up engaged architects and interior designers through affiliate programs and collaboration opportunities with various participating brands. The security zone by Godrej Security Solutions & Godrej LocksS showcased world-class security and safety solutions. Godrej Properties presented its initiative called Easy Beginnings connecting potential homeowners with its financing partners such as Axis Bank, and Home Capital to make owning their dream home more convenient. At the U&Us zone, homeowners received a free consultation from interior designers. Architect Kalpak Shah of Studio Course shared simple tips and tricks that one can do to style their home beautifully. Closely following, homeowners received a crash course in how to use technology to make their homes chic, smart, safe and secure. The evening saw eminent speakers like Sarah Sham (Essajees Atelier), Richa Bahl (Richa Bahl Design Studio) and Nishita Kamdar (Studio Nishita Kamdar) present their design journey inspired by colour. Renowned architect & urbanist, Madhav Raman of Anagram Architects, inspired the AID community with a thought-provoking session on future technology is sharing the design industry. Painter and sculptor Ketaki Pimpalkhare and Yash Soni, Micro Sculptor (pencil carvings) took the audience through their journey and explained how art is a medium for them to express their thoughts.
