Rohtak, April 29, 2025: On the fourth death anniversary of eminent social worker and industrialist Indrajit Saini, a voluntary blood donation camp was organized in the sports hall of the Saini Education Society, Rohtak. Despite the scorching heat, the blood donors showed immense courage and donated 109 units of blood for the patients coming to PGIMS.

Organizer Deepak Saini said that this blood donation camp, organized in collaboration with the District Red Cross Society and PGI Blood Bank, was inaugurated by leading social worker Smt. Vedvati Saini and Ward No. 8 Municipal Councilor Anju Saini as Chief Guests.

Senior BJP leader and former Zila Parishad Chairman Dharampal Makrauli and former Rohtak Mayor Manmohan Goyal participated as Distinguished Guests in the camp and encouraged the blood donors. Youth BJP leader Himanshu Grover, Rohtak Mayor Ram Avtar Valmiki's brother Captain Ram Pal, Secretary of District Red Cross Society Shyam Sundar, Municipal Councillor Akshay, Jyoti, Suresh Kirad, Kapil Nagpal, Bijendra Hooda, Krishna, Anita Miglani, Parveen Kaushik and Councillor Representative Amit Jain Joji were present as Guest of Honour. Dr. Vaishali and Dr. Sonika conducted blood donation along with the team of Kusum, Anju, Deepika, Mukesh, Anjali and Deepak.

Senior BJP leader Dharampal Makdauli said that blood donation is beneficial not only for the society but also for the health of the donor. He described blood donation as Highest Donation (Mahadaan). Former Mayor Manmohan Goyal said that blood has no identity after going to the blood bank. Donated blood saves the life of the needy without any discrimination of religion, caste or rich-poor. Youth BJP leader Himanshu Grover also described blood donation as a very virtuous act.

MC Anju Saini said that regular blood donation is necessary by all healthy citizens and this is such a donation in which neither the donor nor the receiver knows, but it is a great donation to save lives. All the guests encouraged the blood donors by putting badges. All the blood donors were honored with certificates and gifts. The organizing committee presented mementos to the guests.

President of Saini Education Society Avnish Saini, Vice President Budh Ram Saini, Secretary Jagdish Kumar Saini, former President Dharam Singh Dahiya, retired secretary of Red Cross R.P. Saini, Vice President of Saini College Management Committee Advocate Devendra Saini, Red Cross Society life member Girish Saini along with Varun Saini, Ankit Jangra, Anuradha, Disha, Gaurav Saini, Sandeep Zulfi and others were present on the occasion.

Disha, a first time blood donor, said that she is feeling very happy after donating blood. She pledged to donate blood at regular intervals in the future. Girish Saini, a life member of the Red Cross Society who donated blood for the 15th time, said that science has not yet found an alternative to blood. The shortage of blood for the needy can be met only through blood donation.
