Detailed results of Punjab state inter district cricket tournament for T-20

Mohali: 
Faridkot beat Ferozpur by 2 wickets.
The match played between Ferozpur and Fazilka at Barjindra college, Faridkot on 23 July 2021, Faridkot beat Ferozpur by 2 wickets in a nail biting finish. Ferozpur won the toss and opted to bat first. While batting first Ferozpur scored 136 for 9 in 20 overs. Uttetjit Hans 60 off 49 balls (5X4) (4X6) and Ashish Malhotra 27 off 12 balls (3X4) (2x4) were the main run getters for Ferozpur. Deepak Kumar 4 for 15 and Prince Balwant 3 for 18 were the highest wicket takers for Faridkot. Faridkot in reply 137 for 8 in 19.5 overs and got 4 points with this won. Naman Dhir 38 off 25 balls (3X4) (1X6), Deepak Kumar 32 off 32 balls (1X4) (2X6), Sahaj Dhawan 25 off 27 balls (4X4) and Prince Balwant 24 off 15 balls (2X4) (1X6). At one stage Faridkot needed 5 runs from 2 balls, Prince Balwant finished the match for Faridkot with a six on second last ball of the final over and helped Faridkot to record a win over Ferzopur. Faridkot got 4 points while Ferozpur got 0.
Hoshiarpur beat Nawanshahar by 5 wickets.
The low scoring match was played between Hoshiarpur and Nawanshahar at Railway Mandi ground, Hoshiarpur. Hoshiarpur won by 5 wickets and got 4 points while Nawanshahar got 0. Nawanshahar won the toss and elected to bat first. Nawanshahar scored 60 for all in 17.5 overs. Aman Ghuman 42 off 46 balls (2X4) (2X6) was the only batsman who entered in double figures for Nawanshahar. Rajat Sharma with their stunning bowling performance 5 for 5 and Arjun Kumar 2 for 17 were the highest wicket takers for Hoshiarpur. In reply Hoshiarpur achieved the target 61 for 5 in 16 overs. Amit Thakur unbeaten on 14 and Happy Kulvir 14 were the main run getters for Hoshiarpur.
Kapurthala beat Gurdaspur by 7 wickets.
The other low scoring match was played between Kapurthala and Gurdaspur at Govt College, Kapurthala. Kapurthala won by 7 wickets and got 4 points while Gurdaspur got 0. Kapurthala won the toss and opted to field first.  Batting first Gurdaspur scored 76 for 8 in 20 overs. Japjot Singh 19 was the highest run getter for Gurdaspur. Ramesh Kumar 3 for 9, Krishan Alang 2 for 17 and Sukhdeep Singh 2 for 18 were the main wicket takers for Kapurthala. In reply Kapurthala achieved the target 78 for 3 in 14.2 overs.  Neeraj unbeaten on 43 off 49 balls (5X4)(2X6) and Krishan Alang 17 were the highest run getters for Kapurthala. Mohit 2 for 10 was the main wicket taker for Gurdaspur.
Mohali beat Fatehgarh Sahib by 74 runs.
Mohali vs Fatehgarh match played at Dhruv Pandove stadium, Patiala. Mohali won by 74 runs and got 4 points while Fatehgarh got 0. Fatehgarh won the toss and opted to bowl first. Batting first Mohali scored 195 for 7 in 20 overs. Abhijeet 54 off 37 balls (8X4) (2X6), Ramandeep 41 off 30 balls (4X4)(1X6) and Gurkirat Mann quick-fire 31 off 10 balls (1X4)(4X6) were the main contributor for Mohali. Harmandeep Singh and Ajaypal Singh scalped 2 wickets each for Fatehgarh. In reply Fatehgarh was restricted by Mohali 121 for 7 in 20 overs. Akshay Verma 22 off 10 balls (2X4) (2X6) and Jskaranvir Singh 27 off 33 balls were the main run getters for Fatehgarh. Mannider Singh 2 for 0 and Jasinder Singh 2 for 17 were the main wicket takers for Mohali.
Moga beat Ropar by 7 wickets.
Ropar vs Moga match played at Govt College, Ropar. Ropar won the toss and chose to bat. Batting first Ropar scored 158 for 5 in 20 overs. Jujhar Singh unbeaten 65 and Madhav Pathania 29 were the main run getters for Ropar. Talwinder Brar and Gobind Jot Singh shared 2 wickets each for Moga. Moga in reply were 159 for 3 in 18.4 overs and recorded a win over Ropar. Sohraab 63* off 43 balls (3X4) (4X6) and Manpreet Singh 54 off 30 balls (8X4) (1X6) were the main contributors in Moga innings. Inderpreet Singh 2 for 10 was the only highest wicket taker for Ropar. With this win Moga got 4 points while Ropar got 0.
 
Muktsar Sahib beat Fazilka by 23 runs.
Muktsar Sahib vs Fazilka match played at NPS Cricket ground, Muktsar Sahib. Muktsar Sahib won the toss and chose to bat first. Batting first Muktsar Sahib scored 183 runs for the loss of their 5 wickets . Captain Harjot Dhawan scored 54 off 29 balls (3X4)(5X6), Kashish Pasneja 46 off 34 balls (4X4) (2X6) and Sherbaz Brar 42 off 31 balls (6X4) (1X6) were the main run getters . Sohit Choudhary 2 for 31 was the main wicket taker for Fazilka.  Fazilka in reply was 160 for 7 in 20 overs. Rahul Kumar 57* off 33 balls (3X4) (4X6) and Sohit Chioudhary 37 off 31 balls (3X4) were the highest run getters for Fazilka. With this win Muktsar Sahib got 4 points while Fazilka got 0.
Mansa beat Barnala by 4 wickets.
Mansa vs Barnala match played at Khalsa College Cricket Ground Mansa. Mansa won the toss and opted to bowl first. Barnala batting first scored 170 for 8 in 20 overs. Venus Garg 62 off 34 balls (11X4) (1X6) and Lokesh Sharma 29 off 22 balls (1X4) (2X6) were the successful run getters for Barnala. Hitesh 4 for 29, Harpreet Sharma 2 for 26 and Manprit Chauhan 2 for 34 were the main wicket takers for Mansa.  Shahbaj 116 off 61 balls with 8 boundaries and 10 huge sixes helped Mansa to record a win over Barnala. Mansa achieved the target of 170 runs and they were (176 for 8 in 18.5 overs). Prabhjot Singh 2 for 25 was the main wicket taker for Barnala. Mansa got 4 points while Barnala got 0.
Sangrur beat Bathinda by 36 runs.
The Sangrur vs Bathida match was played at Cops Club Bathinda. Sangrur won the toss and opted to bat first. Batting first Sangrur scored 150 for 8 in 20 overs. Abhishek Jalota 41 off 39 balls (4X4) (1X6),Gaurav Markan 25 off 24 balls (4X4) and Jashanpreet Singh 21 off 18 balls (1X4)(1X6) for Sangrur. Manish and Sukhwinder Singh scalped 2 wickets each for Bathinda. In reply Bathinda were 114 for 9 in 20 overs. Uday Partap Saharan 27 off 28 balls (4X4) and Palash Khurana 22* off 17 balls  (1X4)(1X6) were the main run getters for Bathinda. Lovedeep Singh 3 for 15 and Jeevanjeet Singh 3 for 15 were the highest wicket takers for Sangrur. With this win Sangrur got 4 points while Bathinda got 0.
