Ferozepur, February 14, 2022: Dev Samaj College for Women, a premier girls college situated in the heart of city, has been awarded with “Green Champion Award” by Mahatama Gandhi National Council for Rural Education and the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India.
While divulging more details, Dr. Sangeeta Sharma, Officiating Principal of the college said that the survey team had visited college few days and inspected the campus. “Team members Samarth Sharma and Ajay Tanwar visited various departments at the college campus during which the campus was found “clean and green”. Later, after the survey was completed in Punjab, the college was selected for the award in the entire district”, said Principal Sangeeta.
On this occasion, the Principal congratulated Dr. Mokshi from the Department of Biology and Dr. Asha from the Department of Physics for making their special contribution for getting this success.
